Over the last weekend, two members of a rival 25-man guild were… nice enough to send me an in-game letter containing cakes and sarcastic words about how they were now the new #2 guild on our server.

Last night we completed the Heroic Spine of Deathwing encounter and even though we did not get it second, we returned back into second place. It is a damn shame that this game does not have Crow flavored cakes with witch I could send them – though something tells me they have already had enough Crow to eat. Oh come on! Chin up lads! We hear that Madness is 5x easier on 25 man that it is in 10. We all firmly believe you at least have that going for you.

I am not going to lie. Our kill was not very clean and you will see it when our video is uploaded. Our Arcane Mage DC’d during the second plate. Our Holy Paladin forgot to Glyph for Holy Wrath and I was having a wicked time keeping my totems down on the last exposure of the third plate. If we had not gotten it down then we would have had to try again the next day as we only had time last night for 2 pulls before calling it quits. Needless to say everyone was torqued that we got it.

A lot was involved in order to make this happen. We were being held back by our fail (ex) MT so we had to let him go. As a result our Priest had to play his Warrior and we had to look towards our new Druid and Shaman healers to make up for that loss. In 2 days they managed to help accomplish what we could not do in 2 weeks with our former Paladin tank. It never ceases to amaze me what a difference 1 competent player can bring to the table.

Oh Lordy, where to start?

Tonight we defeated the Heroic Warmaster Blackhorn encounter after a month of “Birthdays”, “late classes”, “workout fatigue” and even Wars involving Stars… we finally came together and downed this cow like so much hamburger meat.

We are now only 2 bosses away from wrapping up the entire expansion and could not be more pleased. This whole expansion has been a huge disappointment and we are now eager to get it over with. That being said we are still searching for talented individuals to join our ranks as CATA comes to a close and MOP begins. If you are interested then please submit an application today or talk to me (Naturaleza) in game.

Lastly I would like to thank everyone who helped out tonight. From the kind folk to sat out in order to have a better raid composition (Nin, Kon and Shell) to our new Druids (Air and Mech). Lastly a very special thank you goes out to Ath – for sticking it out as long as he has. The words “under appreciated” to not even begin to describe what you mean to this guild.

As you may have already noticed, we are 5 of 8 deep into Heroic Dragon Soul – having recently defeated Heroic Ultraxion.

I would have reported this sooner if it were not for the tiny fact that we have new forums (once again) and are now back to being powered by WordPress. I will not get into what exactly happened… suffice to say that these things happen for a reason and we are much better off for it.

Now at 5 of 8 we are in need of some extra able-bodied individuals to help us push Heroic Blackhorn and the remaining 2 encounters of this expansion. We are currently in need of healers and ranged DPS. If you have ever wanted to join up then now is your chance to submit an application for review.

Happy New Year one and all!

It is now 2012 and we are back from our 2 week holiday vacation – of sorts. It is good to be back and ready to pick up where we left off. What better way to kick start the new year than to down a new Heroic boss? Tonight we downed Heroic Hagara the Stormbinder, putting us at 4 of 8.

Unfortunately with my video card displaying all kinds of nasty artifacts, no video was captured by me of our first kill. The good news is that a new video card should arrive in a few hours so I should be able to resume recording from here on out and that our Warlock did manage to have his FRAPS on. Oh one more thing before I forget. We are still on the lookout for new recruits. If you are a Tank, Healer or rDPS looking to join an end-game guild then you should drop us a line. We would love to hear from you.

Last night our guild managed to get the server first Heroic Yor’sahj the Unsleeping. This, along with the server’s first Heroic Morchok, put us (at the time) at US #45 for the 10-man division.

Now is a good time to mention that are in need of some new blood to help us conquer some of the barriers Blizzard has put in our path. If you are a talented individual and are interested in joining, I suggest you fill out an application today! It does not matter the role or class you play. We will make room for you provided you treat the guild with the same respect it will in turn give to you.
